With a degree in History of Modern Art and a Masters in Photography, my eye has always been drawn to the more visual side of life. My passion for interiors came in to its own when I was a teenager and decided to transform my bedroom from pale pink and white stripes to a colour explosion; I wallpapered the walls in postcards and never looked back.

 

This passion was then re-ignited, after studying interior styling a few years ago at Central St Martins. This was combined with decorating my own home and learning about the trials and tribulations that the task comes with. But, this is the most rewarding task and can be achieved on a large or small budget, or even with no budget at all.

 

A simple re-arrangement of furniture and re-ordering of your shelves, can change a room entirely; this is where we come in. Our skills include visual re-styling and sorting, making rooms ‘go together’, as well as advising on colour schemes, artworks to fill the walls and styling your home so it suits you and your lifestyle. We can also advise on how to de clutter spaces, and or de-personalise your home if you are looking to sell. A modest investment in staging or styling a property can result in both better prices and faster sales and in 2020, according to the Home Staging Association annual report:

Pre-Lockdown: After staging, the same properties took 28 days to achieve an offer, on average. 
 

Post-Lockdown: On average, properties were listed on the market for 199 days before staging. 

Post-Lockdown: After staging, the same properties took 32 days to achieve an offer, on average.
